About Marissa
Marissa, also known as Ris, is an illustrator and designer based in Richmond, VA. Since graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2021, she has built her art into a successful business that focuses on the magic and beauty of nature. Her art highlights the nuances that she appreciates about the natural world and inspires others to notice and appreciate these small wonders as well.

When she isn't working on artwork, you can find Ris consuming horror and romcom movies, enjoying a peaceful day on the porch, or playing with her two black cats, Cicero and Cersei.
Her goals in the art world are to become a skilled book illustrator, working on subjects that range from the natural world to the fantastical.
